HEALTHCARE ADMINISTRATION IS WHERE BUSINESS MEETS HEALTHCARE, PREPARING STUDENTS TO LEAD IN THE HEALTHCARE SETTING, WITH A FOCUS TO IMPROVE THE COST, QUALITY, AND ACCESS TO VITAL HEALTH SERVICES.

医疗管理 graduates may work in positions within public, private, and non-profit health organizations. Responsibilities may include planning, directing, consulting and coordinating the business and management activities of healthcare organizations or organizations who offer healthcare related products.

UVU's HCA program provides a comprehensive education, diverse career opportunities, and a supportive learning environment, making it an ideal choice for those passionate about healthcare. While a bachelor's degree is the minimum qualification for health administrators, a master's degree is often recommended. Graduates are prepared with unique experiences and knowledge, ensuring they are competitive for graduate school or the healthcare job market.

  • Completion of a minimum of 120 semester credits with a minimum of 40 upper-division credits. A minimum of at least 10 hours earned in the last 45 hours must be earned at UVU.

  • A combined GPA of 2.75 or higher for all discipline core requirements with no discipline core courses falling below a C-.
