- cross-cultural considerations in interpreting (ASL3330)
- consecutive interpretation theory and skill building (ASL3350)
- simultaneous bidirectional interpretation theory and skill building (ASL3360)
- signed language to English interpretation and skill building (ASL3370)
- transliteration theory and skill building (ASL3380)
- audism, linguicism, and oppression (ASL385G)
- visual linguistic analysis (ASL4330)
- ethical-based reasoning and decision-making for interpreters (ASL4370, ASL3375)

My academic interests are in interpreter education, eighteenth- and nineteenth-century Deaf history, the history and etymology of signed languages, visual and graphical representations of signed language, and enhancing teaching opportunities with technology.
