出国留学 in London explores British literature, art, philosophy, culture, and society in an international context, emphasizing the multicultural dynamics of Britain's past and present. 学生 will research and visit several historic sites throughout London, including the British Museum; 海格特公墓; 圣保罗大教堂； The Victoria and Albert Museum; 威斯敏斯特教堂; 还有草莓山小屋。 We will also visit Oxford, Stonehenge, Bath, and the Lake District. 学生 will explore the cultural and historical contexts out of which Britain’s global significance in humanistic inquiry developed and in which it continues to thrive. 学生 also will incorporate experiential learning into course assignments, moving beyond the classroom and into the living present through walking tours, independent research, theater, and national archives.

We expect to do a fair amount of walking in London and during excursions/site-visits to historic and cultural attractions. 学生 with the ability to walk 1-3 miles should have no problem with the walking demands. Living quarters and other locations may require students to use stairs
