Kids in Science Camp

夏令营

地球科学

踏上一段探索地球及其迷人历史的旅程。  Discover how volcanoes create rocks, how earthquakes rock our world, and much more about our home planet.  Develop a better understanding of all that surrounds us, and how we interact with the earth every day.

小炼金术士

学习如何使东西起泡，嘶嘶作响，并改变颜色！  Participate in hands-on experiments and demonstrations that explore polymers, acids, bases, and electrochemistry. 学习令人兴奋的方法来测试假设和设计新的解决方案

警告! 专为好奇的头脑设计。 Exploring physics: forces of nature, simple machines, electricity, magnets, light and sounds. Each day will include hands-on exploration activities where you develop a deeper understanding of physics. Camp will culminate with an exciting engineering challenge!

火箭科学

你准备好飞向新的高度了吗？ 加入我们的火箭模型夏令营吧！ Spend a week studying the physics behind model rocketry.  Activities include building straw rockets, soda bottle rockets and a real model rocket that uses the same physics and computer software that actual scientists use when building rockets. Yes this really is rocket science!

天文学和空间科学

The science of astronomy deals with the planets, stars, galaxies, and everything our universe has to offer!  Investigate the night sky, learn about telescopes and the tools astronomers use to study space, and enjoy hands-on activities to explore, create, and learn about our vast universe.

生物学

从蜻蜓和dicots到DNA和恐龙。 Learn the process of science as you explore hands-on activities covering insects, mamals, plants and DNA.  Tour some of the high-tech labs on campus and work with live and preserved organisms to better appreciate and understand the amazing world of biology!

Discover the wonders of science through fun, interactive experiments, real-world applications, and hands-on activities. From creating colorful reactions to exploring cutting-edge technologies, enter the world of chemistry while developing essential problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

夏令营在六月的头两个星期举行。 All camps take place at the UVU main campus in Orem.
