Once you are in a research group, you can apply for funds through SAC with the help
of your mentor. Find the current SAC Guidelines and obtain the proposal forms to
begin the application process with your mentor by clicking on the buttons on the right.
Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) is a program sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF). REU’s are wonderful opportunities for students considering graduate school, medical or dental school, and for students who want a research experience at a different university.

REU applications typically open by October and are due by February, so mark your calendar to check the site during Fall semester.
