易茵于2022年6月获得美国威斯康星大学密尔沃基分校社会学系博士学位。她的研究兴趣包括政治社会学、方法论、全球化、环境社会学、文化和社会网络分析。她具有较强的编程能力（Stata、R、SPSS、Python、SQL），并有社会学概论、统计学概论、高级统计学、环境社会学、古典社会理论、社会变迁、调查研究设计、全球化等方面的教学经验，需要多学科、跨文化的视野。
