The Professional Elementary Teacher Education program at 犹他谷大学 prepares quality, entry-level candidates for teaching in elementary education programs grades K-6. 学生s who successfully complete the UVU professional teacher education program graduation and licensure requirements, will receive a baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education and a Level I Utah Professional Teaching License.
Individuals who earn an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education are prepared to teach preschool in private and corporate centers, Head Start, public education tuition preschools, or work as center directors. The Associate Degree in Early Childhood can fill the majority of the entry requirements for the 小学教育 program. The UVU Early Childhood Education program is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. The UVU Teacher Education Preschool is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
The Pre-小学教育 program prepares students for matriculation into the Bachelor of Science Professional 小学教育 program.
The Early Care and Education certificate is for students interested in increasing their skills in working with children in child care and preschool programs. Individuals are prepared to work as technicians in public education classrooms and as teacher aides in private centers or Head Start.
