The Office for Global Engagement also continues to be at the forefront of UVU’s education and promotion of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. On April 4, 2020, Utah Valley University was officially recognized as a member of United Nations Academic Impact. The United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) is an initiative that aligns institutions of higher education with the United Nations in supporting and contributing to the realization of United Nations goals and mandates, including the promotion and protection of human rights, access to education, sustainability and conflict resolution. 自2010年以来，联合国国际教育学院创建了一个由学生、学者、科学家、研究人员、智库、高等教育机构、继续教育和教育协会组成的充满活力和多样化的网络。
