The 早期警报 program is a UVU effort designed to connect students in need with campus resources. Faculty serve as the “eyes and ears” to identify which students could benefit from additional campus resources and submit an 早期警报 on their behalf.
Once an alert has been submitted, a 学生成功专员 will reach out the business day after receiving a referral to provide guidance, access to campus resources, or assistance navigating campus processes. Academic advisors are also given notice once an alert has been submitted and are encouraged to discuss alerts during their advising visits.
提交警报的常见原因包括:
The 早期警报 program has proven beneficial in helping UVU students in need of campus resources achieve success throughout their education. 学生s who pass their classes, especially during their first year, are more likely to persist in their courses and graduate.
我们鼓励教师在他们的课程大纲中加入关于早期警报的声明。 This shows students that their instructor values student success and raises awareness for the resources available at the 学生成功中心 and across campus.
