UVU导师 support their instructors by aiding in the planning and facilitation of their classes, as well as actively provide engaging opportunities to their students by leading group and individual self-discovery activities. The UVU导师 motto is "学生s Helping 学生s".

A mentor is a support, a friend, and a resource to students on their path to lifelong success.

如何成为弗吉尼亚大学的导师

申请于每年三月开放。
小组面试在四月举行。
To apply to be a mentor, you must have taken (or currently be enrolled in) a lower division SLSS course (1000, 1100, 1200 2100, 2500) and SLSS 3200. You must pass each course with a B+ or higher.
你必须能提供两份专业推荐信。
你的平均绩点必须在2.75以上。

作为UVU导师的要求

全日制学生（12学分/学期）。
GPA保持在2.75或更高。
在课程的第一学期注册并以A-或更高的成绩通过SLSS 2300。
Enroll in and pass SLSS 240R with an A- or higher every subsequent semester in the program.
Participate in our two large events: First Year Fest during Fall semester and Utah Valley Leadership Conference during Spring semester.
参与Jumpstart培训表、活动表和每月导师活动。
Be available to mentor a course, including attending the course (around 10 hours a week)
5月参加导师训练营。
8月可参加导师秋季静修及联络会议。
