Uplifting Celebration

The event will take place on Saturday, April 12th, 2025, on the grass outside the UCCU Center from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM, with a grand finale at 12:00 PM. This free family-friendly celebration includes complimentary food, T-shirts, carnival games, and sensory-enriched activities, all in an autism-friendly environment. No registration is needed—just come and enjoy!

    For seven years, the UVU Dental Hygiene program has partnered with the Melisa Nellesen Center for Autism to provide autism-specific training and host field trips for local autistic preschoolers and kindergarteners. This partnership helps children explore dental practices in a safe, fun environment while giving students valuable hands-on experience with autism's diverse characteristics.
