melissa nelesen自闭症中心是什么?

melissa nelesen自闭症中心 at 犹他谷大学 (UVU) improves the quality of life for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. Our mission is to provide education and training for professionals, evidence-based services, and to foster a community of belonging.

Established in response to a growing community need, the center is housed in the Cole Nellesen Building, completed in 2017. Built with nearly $8.4 million in private donations, the center serves as a unique resource in Utah, offering a safe space for individuals with autism and their families.

The center offers programs such as 段落, which bridges the gap for individuals transitioning from high school to adulthood, and 狼獾升高, a certificate program for young adults with intellectual disabilities. Additionally, we host an annual autism conference, training sessions, and community events like sensory-friendly performances and sports camps.
