关于项目

The Professional 特殊教育 Teacher Education Program at 犹他谷大学 is designed to prepare quality, entry-level candidates for teaching students with mild to moderate disabilities in special education programs grades K-12. 学生s successfully completing the Teacher Education Program graduation and licensure requirements will receive a BS in 特殊教育, an Autism Minor, and a Level I Utah Professional Teaching License.

  • 与你的特殊教育学术顾问见面
  • 检查ACT成绩：综合21分，英语20分，数学19分。 Retake over the summer in Testing Center if needed. 参加ACT残余考试
  • GPA必须达到3.0或更高
  • 所有内容领域的课程必须通过C或以上和数学2010和2020

第二学期:

  • Apply to the Special  Education program (Deadlines March 1st). 只接受秋季入学
  • 完成秋季开始课程的先决条件

  • Attend Orientation for 特殊教育 new program students in April and set up edTPA folder

  • Sign up, pay for, and take Praxis test #5354 for 特殊教育 and take before student teaching
  • Submit student teaching applications for spring on or before 3日星期五 in September

第二学期:

  • 申请毕业
  • edTPA提交
  • 研究生
  • 如果满足所有要求，则向USBE发送许可建议
