UVU Police would like to remind you that although UVU has a low crime rate, thefts do occur. Please do not leave valuables unattended at any time while on campus. These are items most commonly stolen: books, laptops, cell phones, purses etc.
Many students or employees need to be on campus at night or at odd hours. Perhaps you feel nervous when you need to walk some distance to your vehicle, or other building on campus. If for some reason you would feel more comfortable having someone walk with you, please give us a call.
All it takes is a phone call to the police dispatcher 801-863-5555. Just tell the dispatcher where you are and and request an escort to a particular campus location. We will dispatch an officer to your location to walk with you or give you a ride to to your desired location on campus. We are not able to provide escorts to off-campus locations.
Lost and Found is located at Campus Connection , which is in the Sorensen Student Center. Please check with lost and found prior to reporting an item missing or stolen. 801-863-8797
