Mini-Grant资金

雕刻 funds requests for materials needed to implement research and inquiry-based learning in the classroom.

申请书应包括下列资料：

项目总结提供申请资助项目的描述。 The summary should clearly show how the proposed project aligns with 雕刻 guidelines, priorities, and the UVU mission.
项目需求说明书：提供一份清楚的说明，说明资金将如何使用和资金需求。解释预期结果的好处和长期影响（如果有的话）
对学生和导师的影响: A statement of how the funding will help UVU students and their mentors achieve their goals.
预算提供符合最低要求的准确的费用预算。 The expenses should be at most $1,000.

Mini-grant funds are intended to facilitate student research and other creative work and/or implement inquiry-based pedagogy in or out of classroom. 学生s who wish to request funds should do so through a faculty mentor. Mini-grants can only be used to purchase items through UVU Marketplace.

旅行Mini-Grant

雕刻 provides travel funding to support attending a conference and presenting on topics that are connected to undergraduate research and inquiry-based pedagogy (teaching, mentoring, scholarship, and creative work in and out of classroom).

申请书应包括下列资料：

项目总结提供申请资助的会议的描述。 The summary should clearly show how attending and presenting at this conference aligns with 雕刻 guidelines, priorities, and the UVU mission.
随函附上讲座/工作坊/创意作品的接受书
项目需求说明书: Provide a clear statement of need for the funding, addressing benefits of desired outcomes and long-term effects of attending and presenting at the conference
对学生、社区和纪律的影响: Provide a statement of how attending the conference will impact students, community, and/or discipline and what are the benefits from it. 描述学术/智力探究的水平.
预算提供符合最低要求的准确的费用预算。 The expenses should be no more than $500.

Multiple $500 travel grants may be awarded per semester to award candidates for travel, registration, and lodging expenses.

注意: All the travel and expense reports must be submitted and approved by June 30, 2025, to be eligible for this travel mini-grant, and make sure you are compliant with travel office policy.

发展/旅行补助金给CUR研究所

This grant allows a faculty member to attend one of the CUR conferences and then return to train the rest of the 雕刻 membership using what they learned.

申请书应包括下列资料：

项目总结请提供一份申请资助的扶轮社理事会会议的描述。 The summary should clearly show how attending this conference aligns with 雕刻 guidelines, priorities, and the UVU mission. 说明申请人为什么对这次旅行感兴趣。
项目需求说明书: Provide a clear statement of need for the funding, addressing the benefits of desired outcomes and long-term effects (if any) of attending the conference.
对学生、社区和纪律的影响: Provide a statement of how attending the conference will impact and benefit the candidate and/or their students.
传播: Explain how the obtained information will be disseminated to 雕刻 Co-Chairs, Advisory Board members, and other 雕刻 members.
预算: Provide an accurate budget of expenses (registration, airfare, lodging) that meet the minimum requirements. 费用最多为2500美元。

雕塑奖助金评审委员会

An independent group of board members will review all prospective applications and award the grants to the applicants. After the committee members' review and evaluation, the awardee will be selected by a majority vote.
