高级课程时间表

学生 are placed 与 agencies whose mission and values are compatible 与 both the NASW道德准则和CSWE认证标准。
学生 must receive at least one hour of weekly supervision 与 an individual who has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for at least two years.
学生 practicums run concurrently 与 UVU's academic calendar, beginning in mid-August and concluding at the end of April.
Agencies are invited to attend an annual Field Fair held in February, which initiates the placement process for the following academic year.
Supervisors are invited to attend an annual Field Instructor Conference in mid-September, which includes an opportunity to earn free CE credits.

First-year MSW students complete a 400-hour generalist practicum, which includes opportunities for social work practice 与 individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities.
Second-year and advanced standing MSW students complete a 550-hour advanced generalist practicum, which may include an emphasis on working 与 individuals, families, groups, organizations, or communities.
学生 have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including elementary and secondary schools, correctional facilities, hospitals, residential treatment centers, recovery programs, domestic violence shelters, mental health clinics, inpatient psychiatric facilities, and victim advocacy programs.
In addition to receiving weekly agency-based supervision, students meet for a weekly integrative seminar to discuss practicum-related challenges and receive support and guidance from MSW program faculty and peers.
