犹他谷大学's 37 credit Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) follows an approved verified course sequence which meets the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Examination. The face-to-face graduate degree will prepare students to become practitioners of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and to work with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. Applicants will need to meet additional requirements to apply.

Only graduate level courses which contain behavior analytic content can be considered for transfer or equivalent credit. However, this is determined on a case-by-case basis, with no guarantee that a course will be counted. Any courses that do not have behavior analytic content will not be considered for transfer or equivalent credit. Please reach out to the ABA program director, Dr. Caleb Stanley, should you want to inquire about the possibility of transferring credits or equivalent coursework.

申请应用行为分析硕士学位的学生。 program at UVU have a unique opportunity to work with the Melisa Nellesen Center for Autism located on UVU campus. The center provides engaged learning opportunities with laboratory classrooms which operate as practicum site for some students in the ABA program.

关于实习

  1. 学生需要完成1500小时的实习。 At their approved practicum site, students must accrue 18-20 hours per week for 16 weeks over the course of six semesters to fulfill the 1,500-hour requirement. It is recommended that students accrue 20 hours per week for 16 weeks each semester at their approved site.
  2. 监管期为一个月。 In order to count experience hours, students must be supervised a minimum of 7.5% of the total hours spent in practicum. 例如，80小时的经验包括至少6小时的监督。
  3. During the semester students will receive one hour a week of supervision at UVU and one hour of individual supervision at their approved practicum site.
  4. Group supervision will consist of no more than 10 students per group and will occur as part of the Master's Project courses.
