The Office of 本科生研究与创意作品 (URCW) is committed to supporting 和 promoting undergraduate research 和 creative activities in all disciplines.

• 学生s whose abstracts are accepted to present at UCUR will automatically have their registration fee covered by the URCW. This includes every member of a presentation team.
• Each member of an accepted abstract that plans on attending 和 presenting at UCUR MUST register to attend individually. If you are a member of more than one team, please only register one time. You will need to register using your same name 和 email that the abstract was submitted under if you are the lead author that submitted the abstract. If you are a co-author, you will need to create your own account 和 registration as it will not be automatically created from the abstract submission 和 will not be done for you.
• Due to limited funding, the URCW will not be able to award URSCA传播 Grant Applications to cover any travel expenses including hotel, meals or transportation.

Each year the 本科生研究与创意作品 (URCW) Office is committed to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship, 和 creative activity in all fields of study by paying the cost of registration for those students whose proposals are accepted to present at NCUR 和 meet all the below requirements.

• In the case of a team submission, 一位主讲人的注册将由URCW负责.  No late registration fee's will be covered so please register early or by the on time deadline. URCW不承担额外的膳食或活动费用。 Any registrations that include extras will be denied resulting in the student paying for the full amount of the registration fee.
• 学生 travel expenses, including meals 和 incidentals will not be covered by URCW 和 will need to be paid for by the student 和/or the students department funds.

• All NCUR student attendee's must register individually this means each student, regardless of whether they are part of a team or an individual presenter, will need to register to attend for all accepted abstracts. URCW将支付每队一名成员出席的费用。

• When registering students will need to select "给我的机构开发票" in order to have the cost covered by the URCW. 学生s that add additional expenses to the registration invoice will have their registration fee rejected 和 not paid. 
• ** February 7, 2025, is the last day the "给我的机构开发票" option for payment will be available. After February 7, payment will need to be made via credit card with no option for reimbursement from URCW.

The National Conference for 本科研究 (NCUR), www.cur.org, is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship, 和 creative activity in all fields of study by sponsoring an annual conference for students to present their work.  

This gathering of young scholars welcomes presenters from all institutions of higher learning 和 from all corners of the academic curriculum. Through this annual conference, NCUR creates a unique environment for the celebration 和 promotion of undergraduate research student achievement; provides models of exemplary research, scholarship, 和 creative activity; 和 offers undergraduate research students valuable tools for career readiness development.

学生 presentations are welcome in all fields 和 disciplines from the creative 和 performing arts to biomedical, engineering, 和 social science research. NCUR is a wonderful opportunity to network with peers 和 faculty from around the country working in similar research fields, learn about how research 和 scholarship is conducted in a variety of disciplines, to learn about graduate school 和 employment opportunities, 和, of course, to develop presentation skills.

The 犹他州科学、艺术和文学院的年度会议 will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024. Conference papers will be considered for publication in the refereed Journal of the Utah Academy of Sciences, Arts, 和 Letters. Papers are also eligible for consideration for a cash award for the “Best Paper” awarded in each division. 学院的所有教师和学生成员都有资格。 Abstracts for poster 和 oral presentations are now being accepted.
