Applications are submitted for award consideration from September 1 through March 8 each year on a first come basis while funds last and from March 9 through April 15 for award consideration for the next academic year. All Applications will close on April 16 and will reopen on September 1 each year.

本科研究 Scholarly and Creative Activities (URSCA) is an undergraduate research program at UVU. Upper-division students work with faculty mentors to conduct in-depth research or creative work related to their chosen field of study. This program provides funding to support completion of these projects. (URSCA Grants may only be applied for by current UVU students.)
Research Funds will be awarded the beginning of each month on a competitive basis, based on fund availability. Funds awarded must be used by June 30 of each academic year. Applications awarded after March 8 will be funded on July 1 and available till June 30 of the following year.

学生s awarded funding are required to submit a final report within their ZEngine application to include an executive summary, student participation list and budget reconciliation form, by June 30, of the same academic year. Applying to present the research at a discipline-specific, institutional, regional, national or international conference is also required.
申请于9月1日开放,并随时接受。 Those received in the first 3 weeks of a month go into a 2 week review beginning the last week of the month and decisions are made the 2nd week of the next month. ie: those received the first 3 weeks of September went into review the last week of September and the committee meets the second week of October to make decisions. This is the format that it follows each month through out the year. 报名截止时间为3月8日下午5时。
2025 - 2026
明年的拨款申请将于3月8日开始,4月15日截止。 Applications from this time period will be reviewed the second week of May and notifications will go out that same week. Any applications awarded will have funding begin on July 1, 2025 till June 30, 2026.
After the above time frame closes, applications will re-open on September 1, 2025 through March 7, 2026.
Please note: Applications are accepted the first 3 weeks of each month after which they enter a 2 week review review process beginning the last week of every month and into the first week of the next month. Award notifications will go out the second week of each month.

The D. Clark and Pam Turner Endowment for Engaged Learning in STEM Research Fellowships (TEELS) are designed to support Undergraduate students who are pursuing a degree in the Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Math (STEM) disciplines and who are actively involved in an undergraduate research project overseen by a faculty member and/or industry representative who can act as the undergraduate student's mentor. The goal of this grant award is to provide very high impact mentored research learning experiences for students in STEM-related areas, and prepare the student with early professional experience in their chosen fields. The student must demonstrate a commitment and potential to advance in these areas. The faculty mentor must be prepared to provide high-quality mentoring to the student.
Funds may be requested up to $4,000 over two terms beginning July 1 and ending June 30 of the following year. Awards are primarily intended to be used for student hourly salary/benefits not to exceed $18.00 hour, but may also be used for research related travel, materials and supplies not generally available on campus, or other student-related research costs associated with the students research. Proposals will be submitted to the Scholarly and Creative Activities Council via ZEngine (link below) for review.
学生s awarded funding must submit a year end report which includes a project overview, intended goals, outcomes and assessment of the project, in addition to a budget reconciliation and student participation list. They must also apply to present their research at a discipline specific, national, international, regional, or institutional conference.

Dissemination Funds may be applied for on a rolling basis and will be reviewed as applications are received.

There is a limit on per diem allowing for one dinner meal reimbursement per student per day based on location as outlined in UVU travel policy and within the Concur travel request system. All travel 必须 be done through concur. Please work with your mentor and/or financial manager to submit the request and secure travel accommodations.
学生s awarded funding are required to submit a 3 part final report consisting of an executive summary detailing their experience, a student participation report and a budget reconciliation report, links for which are found and submitted within the original awarded application, by June 30, of the same academic year.
2024 - 2025:
